Note: Module II is designed to give you a basic understanding of human biology terms important for the trichologist. As the program progresses, this information will help you understand trichological concepts. You don’t need to learn all terms, just be familiar with them.
Module III: Introduction to General Science (60 Clock Hours)
Note: Module III provides essential knowledge of general science terms for trichologists. These concepts will help you understand advanced trichology topics.
Module IV: Trichological Anatomy & Physiology (60 Clock Hours)
Note: This module provides an in-depth understanding of the skin, hair, and scalp anatomy and physiology. You don’t need to learn all terms, just be familiar with the concepts.
Module V: Trichological Lifestyle & General Health Influences (60 Clock Hours)
Note: This module teaches how general health, environmental, and lifestyle factors impact the hair and scalp.
Module VI: Trichological Hair Loss (Genetic) (40 Clock Hours)
Module VII: Trichological Hair Loss (Non-Genetic) (40 Clock Hours)
Module VIII: Trichological Hair Loss (Less Common) (40 Clock Hours)
Module IX: Hair Fiber & Other Hair Growth Disorders (60 Clock Hours)
Modules VI - IX discuss the identification, causes, and treatment options for various hair loss problems and hair fiber issues you will encounter as a Certified Trichologist.
Module X: Trichological Scalp Disorders (More Common) (40 Clock Hours)
Module XI: Trichological Scalp Disorders (Less Common) (40 Clock Hours)
Modules X and XI cover the identification, causes, and treatment options for both common and less common scalp problems.
Module XII: Running a Trichology Center (50 Clock Hours)
Module XII helps you apply all your knowledge from previous modules in a clinical setting, preparing you to manage your trichology practice.
This training bridges the academic portion of the course with real-world practice, ensuring you can effectively apply your knowledge in treating hair and scalp problems. During clinical training, you will learn to perform consultations, identify issues, provide treatments, and advise clients.
